The impressive bright-pink flower clusters that decorate this phlox are coloured by incredibly long-lasting modified petals that have a most unusual form. Provides up to 10 weeks of colour.

Phlox Fancy Feelings is a perennial and normally it blooms the second year. Low light intensity decreases the flowering capability, but not to "zero". Not enough cold could be another reason. Otherwise I don't know.

I bought this plant last year and planted it in a partly shaded (late afternoon) border. It flowered fine last year, but this year, not a single flower bud. It has grown leaves but that is all. Do you have any suggestions as to why this is. I have been trying to find out if this plant is an annual or bi-annual. Any comments gratefully received.
