The hybridiser says...

René van Gaalen also has a tip for keeping Phlox 'Fancy Feelings' long-lasting blooms in tip-top condition.

Water can settle in the flowers, eventually encouraging the petals to rot, so just give them a gentle shake after it rains to aviod that.

Where can I buy this plant??

Hello Sylvia,
It is common practice to ship and mail perennials as bare roots in their dormant state. As long as these have been stored and packaged correctly then they should grow just fine once you plant them.
However, if the root has become very dried out then there may be a problem.
One important tip to remember is that you should always plant bare roots as soon as possible after you receive them.

hello Arie, l just received my Fancy feelings phlox from "roots and Rhizomes" nursery. lt was packed in a small aerated plastic bag but was simply a very dry root. Do you think it will grow once put into the appropriate growing medium? thank you! Sylvia
