A magnificent range of Japanese Irises with spectacular 8” flowers is in constant development at Gerard's nursery. Of the 400 plus varieties grown here, about 100 will eventually be selected to release into the market.

The successful plants are selected using a number of criteria including flower colour, form and size, sturdiness of flowers and their ability to hold colour in extreme weather conditions, height of plants and quality of foliage.
