This is a Lavatera with a very bad habit.

But it has enormous flowers in a lovely pale shade of violet-purple. The plant is a native species to Corsica.

Marco attempts to make a cross with another Lavatera with a more desirable upright habit.
We'll have to wait till this time next year to find out the results of his efforts. |
