Dwarf Echinops for 2007
13-07-2005 18:05 Echinops 'Sea Stone' is a short variety with good foliage.
By Miriam Young

The first of Peter's Echinops to be offered as a garden plant, 'Sea Stone' grows to just 16" tall.

It has green buds that gradually transform to blue as the flowers develop and open.

As with all Echinops, 'Sea Stone' is a great butterfly magnet.

If all goes according to plan it will be available in 2007, though mail order catalogues may take orders earlier.
