New Echinacea from Piet Oudolf

Tuesday, 10 February 2004 Having been greeted with much approval by those who have already seen it, Echinacea 'Jade' is set for a 2005 introduction as a Darwin PlantSpotters variety.

Wonderful! I hope that Equinox Valley will be the first nursery in Vermont to release Echinacea 'Jade'. After seeing it in one of Oudolf's books, I've been looking for it in vain, not realizing that it was one of his own unreleased hybrids.
