Delphinium (Belladonna type) 'Starmaker' from René van Gaalen
Introduced 2005
NO LONGER SOLD AS A DAWIN PLANTSPOTTERS VARIETY
A totally unique Delphinium with incredibly long-lasting upward-facing star-shaped flowers, which range through shades of blue and green according to sunlight exposure.
The petals are fused with the stem, so they last a very long time on the plant without dropping.
New flowering stems sometimes emerge from the centres of old flowers, creating a unique bouquet effect.
Plants have a bushier habit than most Delphiniums.
