'Vintage Wine' available in 2005
20-12-2004 14:58 Following 2004's crop problems, a good supply of plants will be available in 2005.
By Miriam Young

The discovery of a virus in the 2004 crop of Echinacea 'Vintage Wine' meant that no plants were offered for sale that year.

Instead, the infected plants were destroyed and the remaining virus-free plants were used to rebuild stocks.

The resulting good news is that 35,000 fully healthy plants will be available for gardeners to purchase in 2005.
