Delphinium 'Delft Blue'

‘Delft Blue’ has broad white edges to its blue petals giving a striped effect unique in Bella - donna type Delphiniums.

It is a mutant of ‘Völkerfrieden’, a very popular and longstanding cut flower variety.

The VKC, a collective of Dutch plant producers set up to monitor quality, awarded 'Delft Blue' 9.2 out of a maximum 10 points in a recent assessment, meaning that cutflower stems of the plant could take pride of place on an exhibit at this world-class exhibition.
