| Mark took cuttings from the plant in the hope of producing more white flowered copies, but when the plants flowered this summer, all but one had reverted to blue.
The only one in existence, at the time of writing, the white-flowered 'Kent Belle' mutation is shown here together with the reverted plants in the background. The insides of the white flowers are blue.
However, Mark isn't giving up just yet. He will take cuttings again this year from the white-flowered plant in the hope of acheiving success at the second attempt. If all goes well, it could be possible to introduce this as a new variety as soon as 2007.
