Hemerocallis
Eleonore has bred about 30 varieties Hemerocallis, which are available for sale to visitors to the nursery. 

She's proud of these other 'good companions' alongside her Astrantias, but has no intentions of competing with the thousands of varieties being introduced by specialist American breeders.

However, hope springs eternal, and as she continues to breed there is still every chance that one day something truly groundbreaking will occur. Watch this space!

Astrantia

'Koningskinderen' ('King's Children' - after Eleonore's surname, meaning 'King') is an early blooming selection with good, deep maroon-red colouring. It's an impressive plant but difficult to mass produce by tissue culture, so will remain a rarity only available to visitors to Eleonore's nursery.
