Miriam,

I'll be moving it next spring and we'll see how it does, it's not dying by any means.I have about 10 kinds of coneflower and have no problem raising them.

I have purchased several plantspotter plants the last couple years and did have one real problem from one, a vintage wine echinacea that I bought to me appeared to have mosiac virus. I had not had this problem in my garden previously. I destroyed the plant before it spread, it did not even produce seedheads to keep and start. I'll try buying that plant again next year as I like the color.

Anyway thanks for your interest.

Hello Al,

Thank you for your comments. Do your flowers really look sick? If they do, then it sounds like your plant isn’t happy, as ‘Jade’ is normally a very healthy looking plant.

If you are concerned about the size of your plant - 'Jade' is a more compact variety – that's the way many gardeners prefer them these days!

I bought this plant in 6/05. It is different looking for sure. The flowers that look sick to begin with - did last all summer. Not a real large or fast growing plant so far.
