Elatum hybrid featuring magnificent racemes of coral red flowers whose colouring is quite unique in the commercial market.

Very sturdy, pyramid-shaped racemes, 6” across at the base. Buds are detailed with beautiful green streaks.

The result of over half a century’s breeding work.

Coral Sunset crop looking good for 2005

30-07-2004 12:21 The Coral Sunset plants being grown for retail in 2005 are looking fantastic at Nico Wigchert's nursery.

Not just a pretty colour, Coral Sunset produces many huge, conical flower spikes on dense plants.

The plants which should have been on sale in 2004 had to be discarded as the roots were found to have no eyes in them. But Nico thinks he has solved the problem, meaning these impressive beauties will finally find their way into gardens around the world.
