Connections through rowing boats

‘Voorbijganger’ are 3 times Dutch national champions in their class and can also be seen competing in September in the Great River Race that takes place in England over a 33km stretch of the River Thames.

It was during a rowing practice session that Jan told Marco of his intention to destroy his 4 year old crop of a certain double Echinacea, as he was not having any success selling it as a cut-flower.

Marco realized the value of such a plant to the garden perennials market and stepped in to save the day. The Echinacea was later to become known as 'Razzmatazz'. The rest, as they say, is history.
