| Answer:As you read through this site, you'll realise that many new varieties of plants are not so much 'bred' as 'discovered'.
But whether a deliberate crossing or a spontaneous mutation, it still takes an experienced plantsperson to recognise a new plant, and that person could be you!
If you have bred or found a perennial plant which you believe to be genuinely new, then Darwin PlantSpotters would love to hear from you.
We'll assess the plant's potential as a new commercial introduction, and, if successful, will make all the neccesary arrangements to have it propagated, grown and marketed. We will also handle the administration that ensures you, the breeder, receive royalty payments for every plant sold.
Maybe soon we'll be seeing your face on this site!
If you think you have a new plant to offer, send details and a picture to newplants@plantspotters.com
