Marco van Noort to feature in Canadian TV show
24-07-2006 14:28 Canadian TV series 'Recreating Eden' sent a crew  to The Netherlands to film an episode all about Marco van Noort.
By Miriam Young

They spent a week with Marco and his wife Heidy filming the documentary about their work and lives.

Garden writers have plenty of questions for Marco and it's all captured on film

Coincidentally, a group of garden writers from Canada and the USA were in town at the same time and were also filmed as Marco showed them around his breeding garden.

Marco guides the garden writers through his breeding garden under the watchful eye of the Recreating Eden camera.

The episode will be in the fourth season of Recreating Eden which will begin to air on the Canadian network VisionTV from December. The exact date of showing Marco's episode isn't yet known.

If you don't live in Canada you can still get to see Recreating Eden by purchasing dvd's of the series from Vision TV's web shop at www.visiontv.ca

For television channel numbers in Canada by region please see the Vision TV website www.visiontv.ca. Recreating Eden's own site www.recreatingeden.com also contains show information. The series is produced by Merit Motion Pictures.

Those garden writers are hanging on Marco's every word. Expect to see plenty of articles about him in the Canadian gardening press!

Recreating Eden is an international multi-award winning, gardening-biography series about how gardens change peoples’ lives.

Consisting of a total of 52 episodes, this documentary series demonstrates the role that gardens play in the lives of people and communities. It is about the people who create gardens, who gather in them, live in them, and are sometimes healed by them.

Dick Maas made plenty of friends among the garden writers as he showed them around his beautiful private garden

While Recreating Eden remained with Marco the writers went on to visit other Darwin PlantSpotters breeders Mark van Kesteren and Dick Maas.
